AussieRishta was born out of a very relatable situation - being an Indian living in Australia, fielding calls from relatives back home asking "beta, shaadi kab karoge?" ("Son, when will you get married?") while you're just trying to figure out if you want a flat white or a chai latte this morning.

We get it. You're caught between two worlds - the rich traditions you grew up with and the free-spirited Aussie life you've built for yourself. You want someone who knows what Diwali feels like but also won't mind a Sunday barbie on the beach. Someone who gets both the chaos of an Indian wedding and the chill of a long weekend road trip down the Great Ocean Road.
